Blizzard vs. Dairy Farmers --An Expose'

The big one is coming. All the local weathermen are telling us that we are going to get hit with a foot of snow and ice. We could be stranded in our home for up to 24 hours. People are freaking out. Groceries stores have no food left, and hardware stores have no shovels left.

Pete the Planner would like to pose the following questions.
1. Since when is being in your home considered stranded?
2. Why is there no milk left? People will miss one day of work, and apparently spend the whole day off drinking milk.
3. Why are people buying eggs, bread, and milk? Are they making french toast during the blizzard?
4. Why do people apparently buy a new shovel every year?
5. Why do people buy flashlight batteries and flashlights every year?
6. Why don't people buy beer? It's a day off of work. Essentially a mini-vacation.

No big deal, just askin' a few questions.
