What is a guy to do?

"What is a guy to do?" It was the question that summed up the weekend. Mrs. Planner and I went shopping over the weekend, and we decided to take special notice of various couples interacting. We shop pretty well together. We have a good time, and rarely do we disagree about possible purchases.
We strolled into a Coach purse store just for fun. Little did we know that I was going to get a blog entry out of our trip inside. The store was packed, and people were buying purses left and right. We noticed two gentlemen huddled in the corner of the store. One of the guys was visibly upset. He kept looking toward the checkout line. Mrs. Planner and I lingered around a little to find out what was going on. Apparently this guy's wife was in line with 3 Coach purses. She was going to drop well over $500 on purses and this guy was freaking out to his buddy. It was pretty sad. Now, I don't know their financial situation, but I do know the sound of financial worry. His voice had it. He stormed out of the store exclaiming, "What is a guy to do?"
No one needs that much stress in their life. Is the wife in the wrong? I have no idea, but I know that their financial communication is terrible. I wanted to slip him the web address to my blog, but then again that harldly seemed appropriate. Moral of the story: Don't go shopping. Okay, let me try that again. Moral of the story: Work on your money communication now. You never know when you will need to be on the same page.
