Rocky Mountain Pete the Planner

The Bloggity Blog will be on furlow until Monday. I am in Denver at a wedding. Ahhhh, romance. Which brings an interesting point up about the obligation to go to a wedding that will cost you a lot of money. I'm clearly not saying I mind going to this wedding. In fact, I love being here, but I know that many of you have experienced this. It's really uncomfortable to talk about it, but it certainly weighs on people's minds. I would hope that if anyone in this wedding party reads this, that they understand that I am talking big picture here, not specifically this weekend.

Back when I was a young "the Planner", I was frequently a groomsmen. That was always a shot to the old budget. A hundred bucks for a tux, fifty bucks for a gift,  and 10 bucks for all the tissue I needed. I'm quite an emotional person at weddings (maybe I'm kidding...maybe I'm not). You obvioulsy want to support your family and friends, but when your budget is tight, and you really aren't hitting your financial marks, its hard to drop a couple hundy on a wedding. But then again at least you aren't the poor sap that pays for the whole wedding. Here's to having sons.

Anyway, I will see you on Monday. I have a great airplane story for you from Thursday night.

Pete
