The worst housing solution ever

I love bad ideas. They are what drive me. I heard something this morning that qualified as one of the dumbest money saving solutions ever, yet it somehow makes strange sense. It is the equivalent of mailing yourself to Florida (instead of buying a plane ticket).
The idea was to rent a storage unit (like the one pictured above), and move into it. Yes, move into it. Live there, sleep there, and eat there. Renting an apartment will cost you $400-$1000 per month, but a storage unit costs only $100-150 per month. If you were really small you could rent one of those shoe lockers with the orange keys that you find at Kings Island or the skating rink.

So other than the lack of light, fresh air and bathroom, what's the draw-back?

i actually lived in one for a yr. it had electric in it, which gave me light, and also the use of tvs, microwaves and a small fridge. i had a large couch in it for sleeping...it was quite comfortable. i showered at the ymca and used the bathroom of a local 24hr mcdonalds.
i loved it.
