All we are is ash in the wind

Mrs. Planner and I made our annual pilgrimage to 16th St and Georgetown Road in beautiful Speedway, IN for the 91st running of the Indy 500 this past weekend. As always, it was a great time. It rained quite a bit so we ended up watching the end of the race on the internet at home. I am always on the lookout for useful knowledge, and I am quite confident that I learned a few things this weekend at the track.
1. If you are a middle aged women with leathery skin and you are smoking a Virginia Slim cigarette directly behind a less-than-famous financial planner, then you should probably not continue to ash all over his back for 2 hours. I would try not ashing on the mildly good looking blogger in front of you. I looked like a dalmatian when I got home.
2. If you are that same women and you want to save minutes on your cell phone, then don't talk on your cell phone during the Indy 500. The person you are talking to can't hear you at all, and you will just end up yelling and annoying everyone around you.
3.  Purchasing tickets from a scalper 45 minutes before the race starts will save you 28.6% off of the face amount of the ticket, and will make you feel better when you leave early because it is raining very hard.

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend.
